How can i change the Branding Bootlogo and Shutdown-Logo? (LG V30 H930)

Hey,

can i change or delete a Branding-Logo, which you tin see after the LG Bootlogo an after you click shutdown? Without root i can't alter it, correct? I bought the LG V30 H930 from italia and read over, that information technology has a TIM Branding. With a tutorial i disabled the TIM-Apps, just the Boot- and Shutdownlogos are still in that location. I read that you can alter the boot.img or something like that. I have a Linux OS, so i can attempt it. The Branding Logos volition exist gone, if i flash the stock rom, correct? If so, which Stock Rom do i accept to use? I have the european H930 V10c-222-01 correct now and downloaded H93010f_00_OPEN_EU_OP_0925 and H93010v_00_OPEN_EU_OP_1120 so far. It would exist dainty, if someone can help me

two ways:

• With root and TWRP flashable logos.
  
• Harder: With the LG G5 and LG V20 you could flash other variant firmware with a custom LGUP file, and probably can with LG V30/V30+. Simply you need one specifically made for the LG V30. Otherwise yous will mess up your phone.

Thanks for your fast answer. With TWRP i can change the branding Logo without irresolute the LG Logo? And if i wink my V30 with a stock firmware, the branding Logo still would be in that location? What exactly is LGUP? If yous don't mind, it would ne nice, if you can explicate it short
And practice somebody know what is the unlike between firmware H93010f_00_OPEN_EU_OP_0925 and H93010v_00_OPEN_EU_OP_1120? I had V10c-222-01, but yesterday i updated my V30 via LG Span to V10f-222-01.

And do somebody know what is the different between firmware H93010f_00_OPEN_EU_OP_0925 and H93010v_00_OPEN_EU_OP_1120? I had V10c-222-01, just yesterday i updated my V30 via LG Bridge to V10f-222-01.

On my carrier unlocked phone I don't see whatsoever carrier logo, of course. Just in my by experience with phones (LG, Motorola, and various Nexus), there's usually a boot logo (a graphic) and a boot animation. LG also has shut down animations, with their LG logo. With TWRP you would flash a zipped file a dev would make, to replace which of those elements you lot would want. For instance, on LG G2 and LG G3 I would replace LG animation with other animations, like Nexus phone animations. On Motorola phones I would replace the boot logo with something cooler, besides every bit the kicking blitheness.

I really wouldn't try this on your phone until there'southward a footling more dev work. Right now we have the first custom ROM up, down in the development section. Other devs will post TWRP flashable zips to do what you want to practise.

Thank you both for your answers. And then that man if i wink a custom rom, i can chage the animation by delete the TIM-files? And it might happen that even if i endeavor to modify the kicking animation via TWRP, the TIM-Blitheness yet would exist there?

I think that if you lot flash one of the official images (someone says UPPERCUT is working with the V30) you can flash a bootanimation.zip with TWRP, information technology should be in the default location and so it should work. Seeing the bootanimation.nix file that LG'due south fabricated, tho, yous would lose the official logo at the beginning of the animation, if you lot want to keep that you may need to create an animation by yourself.

IF you lot take non-branded "H930" (either bodily or converted), you volition either have these bands:
2G GSM: 900 / 1800 / 1900
3G (HSPA): 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100
4G LTE: 1/2/3/4/five/8/12/17/20/28/38

And so, flash H930 KDZ over your Italian phone.

I posted the bands you will have on stock European KDZ. They should be the same as the same you already have. Merely compare what you have with European Italian TIM to stock unbranded European H930.

No.

Well, possibly. We found information technology you lot can flash i partition with KDZ on us998 with Vs996 to get rid of bootloader unlock warning. Could be the same to go rid of the TIM logo. It doesn't affect anything else, like data or apps.
